The exhibition entitled L'Aventure acadienne [Acadian Adventure] is a dynamic and innovative presentation of the history of Acadia in Atlantic Canada and of its material culture. It is divided into two major parts: a chronological section beginning in 1604, and a theme-based section dealing with domestic life, religion, education, politics, the character of Évangéline, folklore, culture and arts, and a brief look at the world of business.

Founded in 1886, the Musée acadien de l’Université de Moncton is the oldest Acadian museum in the world. The museum is now located on the Université de Moncton campus in the Pavillon Clément-Cormier building, which also houses the Galerie d’art Louise-et-Reuben-Cohen. Several exhibitions are available for viewing. The boutique has something for every budget. Friendly and professional staff.
