Situated at the Gateway to the Miramichi River Valley, this 15-acre site explores the woodman's way of life.  You can chart the course of local and New Brunswick history by visiting the 16 buildings, which include a 100 year old trapper's cabin, a cookhouse-bunkhouse-dingle, a blacksmith shop, a sawmill, and the Forestry Hall of Fame. Stories of the Miramichi Fire, Peter Emberley, the Dungarvon Whooper, and the TBM Avenger #14 are explored at this "must see" attraction. A ride on the Whooper Train and a visit to the Gift Shop will complete your adventure. Arrangements can be made for a guided tour and scrumptious meals featuring our "Miramichi Cuisine".  FREE parking and wheelchair accessible.

Nestled in the woods at Boiestown, the geographical center of New Brunswick, this natural setting explores the saga of the forest and the woodman's way of life.  Folklore and ghosts haunt this 15-acre site with the stories of the Miramichi Fire, Peter Emberley, and the Dungarvon Whooper. No visit would be complete without exploring the role that the TBM Avenger # 14 played in fire fighting or a ride on the Whooper Train .
